Kampionati i të Rinjëve dhe të Rejave (Youth) do të zhvillohet në qytetin e Polonisë Kielce nga 2 deri me 9 nëntor 2020, ka njoftuar federate botërore AIBA.
Boksierët më të mirë në botë nga 17 dhe 18 vjeç do të garojnë në 10 kategori (pesha).Kampionati botëror i boksit Rinor për mashkuj dhe femra këtë vitë do të mbahet në Kompleksin Sportiv Hala Legionow në Kielce Polonia pa konkurrencë fitoi kundër ofertuesit rival Nikaragua për të fituar të drejtën për të pritur këtë ngjarje.
Do të jetë hera e parë që vendi mirëpret ketë ngjarje, Meshkuj dhe femra do të garojnë së bashku me njëri-tjetrin për Kampionatin e Dytë Botëror Rinor me radhë, duke u bërë vendi i dytë pas kryeqytetin hungarez të Budapestit në vitin 2018. Aty, 359 boksierë nga 65 vende luftuan për titull.
AIBA Youth Men’s and Women’s World Championships 2020
This year’s Youth Men’s and Women’s World Championships are set to be taking place in the Polish city of Kielce from November 2 to 9. The world’s best boxers aged 17 and 18 will be competing across 10 weight classes.This year’s Youth Men and Women’s Boxing World Championships will be held at Hala Legionow Sports Complex in KielcePoland saw off competition from rival bidder Nicaragua to earn the right to host the event. It will be the first time the country welcomes the tournament.Men and women will compete alongside each other for the second Youth World Championships in a row, having done so in the Hungarian capital of Budapest in 2018. There, 359 boxers from 65 countries battled for the title.

AIBA Ordinary Congress to be held on December 12-13, 2020
May 13, 2020International Boxing Association Executive Committee voted in favor to hold AIBA Ordinary Congress on December 12-13, 2020. The decision was made this week by a mail vote with the majority.Extraordinary Congress, scheduled for June 20, 2020, was canceled due to coronavirus pandemic.The main topic to discuss of the Ordinary Congress will include such points as approval of accounts, reports by commissions, and two following additional items:
- adoption of a new AIBA Constitution;
- election of AIBA President.
‘We hope that sanitary situation will allow us to hold AIBA Ordinary Congress in December,’ AIBA Interim President Dr. Mohamed Moustahsane claimed.‘AIBA is actively working on reforms, not only Statutes changes but also reviewing the competition format and schedule’, he added.
